I’m Jeff Fairman, owner and founder of Without Limits PT & Performance, specializing in physical therapy, gait analysis, performance testing, and strength training for runners and endurance athletes. After earning my degree in Exercise Science, I completed Physical Therapy school in 2008, and have since dedicated my career to helping athletes recover from injuries, optimize movement, and reach peak performance.
As a Fellow of the American Academy of Manual Physical Therapists, I have advanced expertise in manual therapy, injury rehabilitation, and movement correction. I work with runners, endurance athletes, climbers, and tactical athletes, addressing conditions like stress fractures, Achilles tendinitis, IT band syndrome, knee pain, and post-surgical rehab. With advanced training in gait assessment, biomechanics, and endurance coaching, I integrate strength & conditioning principles to improve efficiency, prevent injuries, and enhance performance.
At Without Limits PT & Performance, I help athletes across Howard County, Maryland, Baltimore, Washington, D.C., and the DMV area get back to doing what they love—pain-free and stronger than ever.
When I’m not treating patients, you’ll find me coaching runners, hitting the trails for a run or bike ride, or enjoying a round of golf.

She earned her degree in Psychology with a concentration in Biological Psychology from UMBC, and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Maryland, Baltimore in 2007.
Karyn is passionate about helping adults stay active as they age, combining hands-on manual therapy with individualized corrective exercise programs. As an endurance athlete, she understands the physical demands of sports like running, adventure racing, and triathlon. She previously served as the running specialist at a leading orthopedic clinic, where she authored a return-to-run program and taught continuing education courses on the assessment and treatment of runners.
Karyn is certified in myofascial trigger point therapy (Myopain Seminars), and trained in the McKenzie Method, Mulligan Concept, and GIFT Fellowship Program from the Gray Institute. She integrates manual therapy, movement science, and patient education to reduce pain, restore mobility, and prevent future injury.
Outside of the clinic, you’ll likely find Karyn outdoors—running, biking, hiking with her dog, or competing in ultra-marathons, adventure races, and paddling sports.
