Karyn DuLaney

DPT

Physical Therapist Specializing in Orthopedic and Sports Rehab

Karyn DuLaney, DPT, brings over 15 years of experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy, with advanced training in running injury treatment, sports rehab, and active aging. She earned her degree in Psychology with a concentration in Biological Psychology from UMBC, and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Maryland, Baltimore in 2007.

Karyn is passionate about helping adults stay active as they age, combining hands-on manual therapy with individualized corrective exercise programs. As an endurance athlete, she understands the physical demands of sports like running, adventure racing, and triathlon. She previously served as the running specialist at a leading orthopedic clinic, where she authored a return-to-run program and taught continuing education courses on the assessment and treatment of runners.

Karyn is certified in myofascial trigger point therapy (Myopain Seminars), and trained in the McKenzie Method, Mulligan Concept, and GIFT Fellowship Program from the Gray Institute. She integrates manual therapy, movement science, and patient education to reduce pain, restore mobility, and prevent future injury.

Outside of the clinic, you’ll likely find Karyn outdoors—running, biking, hiking with her dog, or competing in ultra-marathons, adventure races, and paddling sports.
